Florida State Spirit Groups are happy to announce Spear-It Day 2021 will be held September 25 before the Louisville football game.
We anticipate the kick-off time to be announced one week prior to the clinic. Once we have a kick-off time we will update the schedule.
The clinic will be for 2.5 hours
Timeline:
Doors open for check-in 4 hours and 45 minutes before kick-off
Clinic Begins 4 hours before kick-off
2 hours and 30 minutes before kick-off we will go to the Legacy Walk
1 hour and 45 minutes before kick-off there will be a performance at the Indoor Practice Facility
1 hour and 30 minutes before kick-off clinic ENDS
25 minutes before kick-off (when the football teams clear the field) all participants can begin to make their way to the SOUTH EAST side of the stadium near GATE G (Under Section 16) to find their FSU cheer and dance Buddy for the on-field performance during pregame (weather permitting).
Our audition prep clinics offer more insight on our audition process and allow dancers a better perspective on the expectations and requirements of our program. Although not mandatory, we highly encourage audition hopefuls to attend to prepare for the collegiate audition process.

MAY 26: Second round decisions made
AUGUST 13 – 14: IN PERSON FINAL ROUND
Interested athletes must complete this FSU physical form (All paperwork must be complete: entire physical, including all the bloodwork and EKG). Athletes trying out that are under the age of 18 must also fill out a minor’s medical consent for treatment form.
